I just want to wish everyone a happy holiday! (Sorry I'm a little late!) I hope y'all have had a blessed holiday season and I know I have had a great holiday. I have been so busy this is the first time I have had time to sit down and blog.
We are currently still looking for clothing sponsors, which is exciting yet it makes me worry we wont get enough clothes for our models. The fashion show promoting is going pretty well on facebook, and we also hung posters around our school and I pretty happy with the turn out. Now is just the time to get all of the strings tied, which is a major part of putting on a great event! I bought a beautiful dress to add to my collection for the fashion show. I'm hoping to be able to change outfits for each part of the show, but we'll see. ;)
Well I'm sorry for a short blog but i have to go!

Right now we are currently look for clothing sponsors and we are publicizing like crazy. We are also on the search for models, so it's been quite hectic around my house. Today I will be emailing potential sponsors, so hopefully we will be successful with finding some! I also have Christmas shopping to do as well as a trip to my hair stylist and Starbucks :) If any of you have any ideas for our fashion show don't hesitate to leave a comment! I also need a list of good songs to play during the fashion show, so any ideas would be awesome :) Thanks for reading!

High Light of MY Year!
I have actually made it through my day with out breaking down! (yay!) I knew today wasn't going to be easy but some how I just want to smile and cherish life even more. And i want to not regret anything and wish i would have done something.
Today i was privileged enough to be able to sing Christmas carols at a local nursing home that my grandma attended before she passed on and all i can say is that i cant stop smiling! We were there to bring joy but i think i got more joy out of it than they did. As weird as that sounds its true! We all have to think about that one day we could be those people in the nursing homes and we would want people to bring us joy as well as happiness. I'm at a loss for words as to how i can express my gratefulness and being able to be there. And i hope that we some how made there day or even there week and i am forever grateful to have been there.

720 Days of High School

I woke up this morning and felt the need to make a difference. I'm the type of person who cares about others and volunteers regulary but today I said I want to change the world and I want to inspire people. So, hopefully I can reach out to at least ONE person in my quest to cherish every day and to have millions of memories to look back on.
The holiday season is a great time for me and my family but its also very hard on me. Tomorrow marks the 1 year anniversery of my best-friend-from-elementary-school's earning of her wings. She beat her leukemia and got to go to heaven to watch over us and it still isn't easy to grasp the concept that she isn't here anymore. As I type this tears are in my eyes because I truly wish with all my heart that i could have done something, but there is nothing any of us could do. She went over and beyond in her life and i hope i can touch 1/4 of the lives she has touched. And this is one of the main reasons for this blog... to inspire others and to tell my view on life. I know I am very fortunate to have been touched by her and I know that I will never forget her.
Life will take us down many roads we never thought we would go down but when we look back we realize that we wouldnt want it any other way.
